Being in between the training sessions is sort of weird. I don't have any assigned homework and my home practice has been suffering mostly because I've been out doing social things for another project. I need to get my home practice more consistent.
The upside of the time off is I can actually thing about what I'm doing. My flexibility is way better than it was six weeks ago and I've actually committed to not running until I can touch my toes in a forward fold (working on it). I was hoping to run a marathon this fall, but I've realized that it's my lack of flexibility not strength holding me back. So with that I put my running shoes away for a few months. Sigh.
In other news I've lost 3lbs in the 6 weeks, which is good. Personally I'd like to lose another 5-10lbs but I've only been able to do that with running which is why it's so hard to stop. Sometimes though the harder thing is the better thing. I'm probably going to go back to bikram for the next couple weeks though. I miss it. We shall see!
