Miscellaneous Friday Posting

It's been a long week and I am certainly glad it's Friday. Tomorrow I am observing another class and I'm hoping to get some home-practice in this weekend because I've been unmotivated and my head has been elsewhere. Hopefully yoga will become my go-to for balancing in the next few months, like running used to be, but until then it's just something I have to do. I think part of me is still adjusting to not having a regular bikram practice. I do miss it, but I also have been feeling like it wasn't the best thing for me to do on a regular basis.

All that aside, I'm currently 17 hours into my 24 hour fast today. I've been trying really hard to do a weekly 24 hour fast and I believe this is my 3rd or 4th week of doing it consistently. I feel so much better after giving my body some time off of digesting. The fast itself is also getting easier and I'm learning what are better times to do it. Dinner to Dinner when I'm at work is really hard. Lunch to lunch is okay and breakfast to breakfast is okay too. I definately feel better (lighter mostly) for a few days after, especially if I've been drinking that week.

That's all I have for today. Off to work and to enjoy the weekend.
